AMSOIL SIROCCO Synthetic Compressor Oil (SEI) is essentially a long-life fluid of the highest quality which has been specifically designed using premium synthetic ester technology. SIROCCO has a proven track record as far as reducing wear and tear is concerned. It's also known to reduce foaming and rust. Furthermore, because of its lubricity and thermal conductivity, it is also able to reduce heat and energy consumption. This in turn increases efficiency and reduces overall maintenance costs.
Generally speaking, AMSOIL DC Synthetic Compressor Oils are based on a relatively novel technology, and they've been designed specifically for use in compressors. The most noticeable benefit of these lubricants is that they are able to increase efficiency and extend the usual drain intervals in compressors which are usually subject to high temperatures and the buildup of carbon deposits. Furthermore, these synthetic oils contain no detergents or ash, which in turn means they can continue delivering a higher level of protection even at extreme temperatures. Unfortunately, regular petroleum based lubricants are unable to match synthetic lubricants under these conditions.
